DEFINITIONS

Internship: paid position, usually for 1 year minimum, for veterinarians who want to work in a veterinary hospital practicing holistic medicine.

Externship: unpaid position, one week or more, for veterinarians who want to work in a veterinary hospital practicing holistic medicine.

Membership Mentoring: availability to answer questions from other veterinarians about CAVM practice in general, or about the modalities you use.

Pacific Veterinary Conference

The Annual Pacific Veterinary Conference will be held June 20 - 23, 2013 in Long Beach, California.
It is sponsored by the California Veterinary Medical Association and attracts veterinary professionals from all over the United States, Canada and beyond.

The conference provides over 230 hours of CE, with 28.5 hours of technician-specific CE.
There are over 100 CE sessions and labs offered in multiple tracks, including small animal surgery and medicine, avian/exotics, equine, mixed animal, disaster preparedness, breakfast and lunch symposiums as well as tracks for technicians and practice managers.

Registration includes continental breakfasts, morning and afternoon snack breaks and lunches in the Vet Expo exhibit hall on Friday and Saturday as well as many opportunities to network and socialize with colleagues.
