She was certified in veterinary acupuncture in 1988, and incorporated other modalities including Chinese and Western herbs, nutraceuticals, trigger point therapy, and homotoxicology in her veterinary practice. She is a health coach for humans, using her website, LongerHealthierLife.net to teach how to use diet, nutraceuticals, herbs and simple exercises to help control and improve chronic disease. She lives in the woods, in a solar-powered house that is off the grid, with her husband, and a rescued Doberman.
