Colorado

Are you looking for a more satisfying practice experience?

Would you like to practice in a way that feels more authentic?

If you answered yes to the above, then we have a program that can help you experience more freedom, more flexibility, and more income in practice.

Have you thought about going out on your own as a practitioner?  We know that this can be intimidating as most veterinarians are not trained in business management, and the financial commitment can seem overwhelming.

I have found a solution that will allow you to set your own schedule, practice exactly as you choose, minimize your upfront financial investment, and actually enjoy practicing again.

I am a seasoned practitioner of 35 years and have practiced in many different situations.  When employed, I was constantly thinking, ‘I know I can do this better/different’.  So I bought an existing clinic, taking out a large bank loan, which added tremendous financial stress to the day to day challenges of managing a practice.  I eventually burned out and sold the practice.  After a 3 year non-compete, I decided to try a different approach, starting much smaller and slower.

This time around, I started a home practice.  Because of the low overhead, I could allow the practice to grow and support itself organically.  As we got busier, I began to add more help, including my husband, who was able to leave his corporate job.  We are now at an inflection point as the practice has grown, deciding if we want to move into a larger space.

The beauty of this approach is that you are never ‘stuck’.  All of the decisions are yours – when you practice, how you practice, and who you hire.

Are you wondering how to get started on this path?  Enter our Small Space Practice Solutions program.

We will help you every step of the way, including addressing your personal goals, such as income and   quality of life; professional goals, including special areas of interest in practice;  financial goals, both short and long-term.

We will help with any and all of your needs, from finding space, to marketing, hiring help, and practice management.  We started in our home, but any small space will do to get started.

We will customize a program specifically for you and your individual needs.

If you think this may be a fit, contact us today and schedule a complimentary 30 min introductory call.

I can be reached at info@ahavet.com. Make the subject line of your email “Small Practice Inquiry”. This just could be the most important decision of your career.

Michigan

Integrative Veterinary Services of Southeast Michigan is a thriving small-animal, holistic veterinary practice in Howell, Michigan.  Howell is a family friendly, small town with easy access to Lansing, Detroit and Ann Arbor.  We started in 2010 as a referral practice to surrounding conventional practices, offering acupuncture, chiropractic, whole-food therapy, nutritional guidance, applied kinesiology and cold-laser therapy.  We now also offer full labs, digital radiology, high-dose IV Vitamin C therapy and ozone therapy.  We do not perform surgery and emphasize the importance of our clients maintaining relationships with their conventional veterinarians, with whom we have a strong relationship with as well.  Our primary focus and message to our clients is one based on functional medicine.  We educate our clients on the common denominators of chronic disease in this country and how focusing on these aspects can lead to an overall enhanced quality and longevity in life.  These topics include nutrition and how toxic our food supply can be, the heavy vaccination schedule, toxin exposure (chemical, heavy metals, EMF’s) and even the emotional component of healing.

Our patients and clients appreciate our soothing environment, modern facility and warm and friendly staff.  We schedule 1 ½ hour new patient appointments and 30-minute rechecks.  Our biggest challenge currently is not being able to accept any new patients due to only having one doctor and a large existing patient load.  Interested candidates must be certified in acupuncture and spinal manipulation. We are looking for a full-time veterinarian who is interested in future ownership.   Interested doctors are welcome to come visit, spend a few days, see how we roll and hopefully develop a confidence that it is the right environment for them.  Please contact Laura at 517-304-0715 or mljanuszewski@yahoo.com.  We look forward to meeting you!
